We are an organization located in NY, located in the mecca of streetball, lead by BangLee the editor.

BangLee himself is a streetballer playing in major tournaments such as Kingdom, West 4th and many others. “I want to let these people know about the attraction of streetball even if they have never experienced it. Streetball is cool.” As BangLee quotes, to make it happen, he launched this SpaceBallMag. We want more people to feel Streetball though the magazine. With this thought, we try our best to implement streetball and attract people to streetball.

About SpaceBall Mag

SpaceBall Mag is a quarterly magazine that focuses on streetball. It aims to implement the streetball culture to the society by not only featuring streetball leagues but also behind the scenes, next generation players and many others. It is published in both English and Japanese. SpaceBallMag also has a website (http://www.spaceballmag.net/) that covers stories, movies and news that could not be addressed in the magazine.

運営者について

私たちは、2009年ストリートの本場ニューヨークで、発行者であるBangLeeを中心に、活動を本格化させた団体です。

編集長も務めるBangLee自身、実はストリートの殿堂KingdomやWest4thリーグを始め様々なリーグに出場している現役ストリートボーラーだったりします。「ストリートボールを愛する人、ストリートボールに初めて触れる人にもストリートの魅力を伝えたい。

だってストリートってカッコイイものだから。」全てはそんな彼のこの思いから始まり、このでっかい野望をリアルにするためにSpaceBall Magの発行がはじまりました。マガジンを通して少しでもストリートを身近に感じてもらいたい。

その気持ちの下、私たちは日々カッコイイものを作るため奮闘しています！

SpaceBall Magについて

SpaceBall Magはストリートボールにスポットライトをあてた季刊誌フリーマガジンです。ストリートボールの社会的認知・ボトムアップを目指してお送りするこのマガジンはリーグレポートだけに止まらず、試合の裏側や次世代を担う選手の紹介など、ストリートボール界の今を中心に日英2カ国語対応で発行しています。この、SpaceBall Mag Webでは、マガジンではお伝えしきれないトーナメントの試合動画や最新の試合レポートなどをお届けしています。
